OUR SERVICES

The first step is to establish the Design.

In this phase we discuss aesthetic, play around colours, measure different size, feel fabrics and/or leather and decide materials and other specs of the product.

You do not need in-depth design blueprints to start this process, our sample masters are well equipped; even a reference picture or rough drawing from your end would be enough for us to start collaborating together. We also offer separate design assistance if needed.

DESIGN & SAMPLING

Once we have an established design, we will create a sample/mock.

Most samples generally take 1-2 weeks. However, if the sample is more complex, it could take 3-4 weeks. 

The sample(s) will then be shipped and delivered to your doorstep for you to examine. We will then make changes to the mock based on your feedback and send you another sample with the improvements made.

If you approve, we finalise the pattern.

If not, we continue the process until you are 100% satisfied with the final product.

Along with the the product sample(s), we will also provide thee with varieties of materials to choose from; fabric and leather swatches, different hardware and

zipper designs etc..

After approval, we will provide you with the sampling and estimated production quotation. 

PRODUCTION

After approval of the sample(s), we will send you an order form for your approval.

This will include the cost, design, composition, colours, sample and fit comments, size breakdown, materials involved and lead time.

Once approved, SALADI will move forward with production.

LEAD TIME

Lead time varies depending on the product category & complexity and current work load. Bulk orders generally take 4 weeks or upto 12 weeks.

After approval of the purchase order, we will move forward to source the materials.

Our textiles and leather are sustainably sourced; Leather is either procured from the remnant markets or is made by recycling scrapes of surplus leather. Our Leather suppliers are Gold Audited by the Leather Working Group.

Textiles and Fabrics are sourced from Fair Trade, Sedex, GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard ) and Global Recycled Standard Certified textile mills.

We use 100% original YKK hardware. Our premium metal hardware remains lustrous throughout their lifetime.

PATTERN MAKING

Our Lead Master Tailors require a minimum of 15 years of experience before we allow them to craft patterns and create prototypes.

Our current pattern masters are equipped with more than 25 years of experience and our lead stitchers with over a decade.

After approval of the final sample, the patterns are carefully adjusted and trimmed to achieve the perfect silhouette.

Upon arrival of materials, the textiles/fabrics are evenly layered and later outlined by the pattern's silhouette and then cut.

For leather, each panel is cut individually by hand as each leather hide is unique in shape. These cut-pieces are then forwarded for the next step - embellishing.

EMBELLISHMENT

The cut-pieces or panels are then sent to the embellishment department where they are printed, branded, embroidered or embellished in any other way.

Some of the embellishment services we provide come in the form of digital Print, screen print, block print, hand embroidery, machine embroidery and embossing or debossing on leather panels.

STITCHING

The embellished panels then arrive at the stitching department where they are sewn together into the final product. The Garments are then pressed and Leather is polished. Clothing labels and hang tags are also added in this process.

QUALITY CONTROL

Our in-house quality control checks the stitching, sizing, prints, embroidery, and general garment/product quality before giving us the green light to package the completed garment.

We also offer packaging solutions. Wether it is a custom designed box or tote bag, we can make it for you. The Garments/Products are packaged according to your specifications and then is shipped to your given location.

SHIPPING & FREIGHT

Finally, we offer you multiple freight options and prices for your order before authorising the delivery process to start. Shipping can be done through air (faster) or by sea (slower). Incase you have your own freight agent, we will provide you with packing lists, box dimensions and box weights.
